About Us

Kelly and Tom, Founders of Summer Fun!

Our History

Founded by Kelly Foster-Griffin and Tom Freeman in 1993, Summer Fun started out as part of a children’s music demonstration group for teachers working towards their Kodaly Music certification. It rapidly evolved to include dance, theater, and art, and has been going strong in Seattle for over 30 years!

Meet our exceptional staff and instructors

Summer Fun’s mission is to provide a magical camp experience that enriches the lives of children through the visual and  performing arts.

Together, we strive to make every day unique and fun, by using carefully selected, skill-building activities.

Although our goal is process-oriented, we endeavor to bring the highest quality art and technique to our performances. All of our instructors are certified teaching artists.
